场独立/依存认知风格对大学英语阅读教学的启示

摘　　要：培养较强的阅读能力是大学英语教学的目标之一,阅读是一项认知过程,认知风格影响学习者如何对阅读信息进行感知和理解,进而影响阅读的效果,教师应遵照学生的认知风格优、缺点对其进行相应的阅读指导,从而提高学生的阅读理解能力。Cultivating students＇ reading abilities is one of the objectives of college English teaching. Since reading is a cognitive precess, during which students＇ cognitive styles influence the way how they perceive and understand the information, thus influence the efficiency of reading, teachers should take into consideration the advantages and disadvantages of students＇ cognitive styles, guide them in reading to improve their reading abilities.
