摘 要:以关联理论为理论依据,以全面采用改革后新题型的全国大学英语四级考试听力理解部分全真试题为语料,从认知语用的角度探讨了英语听力理解过程中听者如何透过话语的字面意义分析推导话语的真正含义的语用推理过程及其对听力理解的影响,指出听力教学和听力理解中引入认知语用知识有助于提高学生的听力理解水平。Listening comprehension is actually a process of pragmatic inference about how learners analyze and infer the contextual implicature of speakers's utterance from its literal meaning. Based on the Relevance Theory, this paper explains the operation of pragmatic inference in listening comprehension and its effect on listening comprehension from the perspective of Cognitive Pragmatics through analyzing the reformed CET - 4 test papers. It indicates that it is a profitable attempt to introduce praonatic inference to listening comprehension and classroom teaching.
