摘　　要：阅读水平是语言综合能力的反映。扩大词汇量、扩大文化背景知识、句型教学与语篇教学有机结合、掌握阅读技巧提高阅读速度是提高阅读水平的有效途径。The reading ability can reflect comprehensive language ability. The effective ways of improving the reading ability include： enlarging vocabulary and cultural backgrotmd knowledge, combined with the teaching of sentence patterns and discourse. Reading skills may also be helpful in improving the reading ability.
