生物教学中开展STS教育是实现素质教育的有效途径

摘　　要：STS教育是根据时代的特征和科学、技术、社会三者关系提出的一种新的科学教育思想。STS教育是对传统科学教育的超越,它体现了素质教育的要求。在生物教学中应用STS教育是生物教学改革的主要方向,也是生物教学由传统的科学知识传授转化为素质教育的有效途径。STS education,marked with its characteristics of the times,is a new scientific educational theory based on the relations among science, technology and society.STS education has transcended traditional science education and has indicated the demands of quality education. It is the main reformatory direction that STS education is applied on the biology educational reform. It is the effective way to change the traditional scientific knowledge into quality education in biology teaching.
