摘　　要：教师是理性与自由的结合体。教师理性是教师在其具体的教育教学专业生活中持有的生存态度、思考方式乃至生活方式。教师自由包括教师个体的生命自由和教学生活中的教学自由。教师理性是教师自由的体现,是教师自由的界限。教师的自由及其实现是以理性为依托的。教师要以理性争取自由,以自由促进理性的发展。Teachers are the combination of rationality and freedom. Teacher rationality is the attitude towards living, the way of thinking and the life style a teacher owns in his/her specific educational and teaching work. Teacher r freedom includes the freedom of a teacher＇s individual life and the freedom of his/her teaching life. Teacher rationality is the manifestation and the limits of teacher freedom. Teachers＇freedom and its realization are based in rationality, so teachers should strive for freedom with rationality and promote rationality with freedom.
