一片未被开发的双语教学沃土——普及小学双语教学的师资问题调查报告

摘　　要：笔者在国内外有关双语教学的理论与实验成果的研究基础上指出,对小学双语教师的英语水平定位应该以其能否完成小学双语教材的教学内容为准。然后,笔者对一所市区小学教师进行了问卷调查,以考察这一设想的可行性。调查结果显示,约91%的教师都能完成这样的双语教学任务;此外,教师队伍年轻,有中师以上的英语基础,大多数教师只要进行短期培训,就能胜任双语教学。这一研究在我国市区从市区幼儿园到大学都有一定的推广价值。The author first puts out the point of view that the criteria in evaluating the English standard of primary school bilingual teachers should be based on whether they can finish the teaching of bilingual textbooks,and the criteria for bilingual teachers in the aspects of the accuracy of English pronunciation,fluency,grammar should be lower than those for English teachers.Then,through the questionnaire investigation in an urban primary school,the author finds out about 91% of the teachers can finish such a teaching task.Bilingual teaching can be feasible only if appropriate training is given.
