摘　　要：建构主义是网络英语学习模式的理论基础,现代网络多媒体技术的发展为其提供了技术支持;基于网络的英语学习模式应包括:建立一个学习社区;根据课程内容创设情境;丰富的信息资源;设计重视学习者的语言能力的测试评价。Constructivism supplies the basic theory for the network English study mode, while the development of the modern network multimedia technology offers it the necessary techniques. The English study mode based on the network should include the following aspects:setting up an English study community; creating a virtual setting according to the teaching content;abundant learning resources;devising a series of examination and evaluation which emphasizes on the learners' language ability.
