摘　　要：本研究论述了综合技能集成法的理论依据,并以江西某普通高等师范学院2002年入学的200名非英语专业的本科生为对象,就以上方法的有效性进行了历时一年的教学实验。实验结果表明:与传统教学法相比,综合技能集成法不仅更有利于学生打好语言基础,掌握语言技能,而且更有利于培养和提高学生语言综合应用能力。This paper reports the experiment results on an integrated-skills approach to the college English teaching at a local teachers' college in Jiangxi.The research results testify the effectiveness of the new approach:it not only helps improve students' mastery of language knowledge,but also contributes to the cultivation of their ability in listening,reading,speaking and writing,thus enhancing students' overall communicative competence.
