摘　　要：中国互联网，越发不缺乏暴力和恩怨了. 2009年4月，网易从九城手里抢走《魔兽世界》后续作品的代理权。《魔兽》对网易来说，只是锦上添花，可有可无。但对九城来说，就是釜底抽薪。九城90％以上的收入来自魔兽，没有魔兽，纳斯达克上市公司九城的小命说完就完。China's lnternet world is not lack of violent stories, April 2009,NetEase had won the license to host Activision Blizzard's popular role-playing game World of Warcraft for three years in China's Mainland.Warcraft is like a desert for Net Ease but it is the main course for The 9,the former license holder.90%of The 9's income comes from Warcraft,without which such NASDAQ listed company will be almost dead. It is argued that William Lei Ding.CEO of NctEase,who looks so gentle,should not have made this deal,for the sake of industrial situation.However,most insiders are only on-lookers.William Zhu,a veteran in games industry commented in his blog: The 9 descrves it. The big questions in this case will be: how a listed company with the market capitalization of several hundred million dollars has changed so much? What is the logic or reality behind that?
