摘　　要：简易读物辅助大学英语学习的理论主要包括语言输入理论、课内阅读与课外阅读的关系、选择课外阅读材料的原则和简易读物的独特优势。简易读物对大学生英语学习具有重要的意义,能够帮助大学生提高阅读能力和写作水平。我们在英语教学中应加强对简易读物阅读的指导。According to the theoretical basis of input, the thesis tries to analyze the relationship between reading materials and textbooks, the standard of choosing reading materials, and the unique advantages of the adapted English novels. Adapted English novels are of significance for English learning in the following aspects： improving reading ability and improving writing ability. We should strengthen the guidance of how to read the adapted English novels in English teaching.
