摘　　要：语料库是指一个由大量的语言实际使用的信息组成的,专供语言研究、分析和描述的语言资料库。语料库语言学是在语料库的基础上对语言进行分析和研究的科学。本文在语料库的基础上重点介绍了英汉谚语在起源,地理环境,历史背景,道德观念上的差异,希望能够给予读者借鉴。Corpus consists of a great quantity of information and it is a language data bank which is used for study, analysis and description. This thesis tries to analyze the differences of cultural features between Chinese and English proverbs from the aspects of origin, geography, historical setting and moral concept on the basis of corpus.
