英语竞赛在高职英语教学中的作用及策略探究

摘　　要：英语竞赛活动在高职院校英语教学中的作用不可忽视,竞赛的过程就是课堂教学的延续。全国大学生英语竞赛在倡导重在参与的基础上培养学生勇于进取、永不言败的竞技精神,有助于学生夯实和扩展英语基础知识和基本技能。为了使学生们能在竞赛中取得骄人成绩,我们采取了一些应对措施并收到了良好效果:如因材施教、实施分级教学;改革传统的教学进度、实现教学前移;在日常教学工作中注意培养尖子生并且在校园中给学生们营造出良好的英语学习氛围等。The function of English contest activity can not be ignored in English teaching of higher vocational colleges.The process of contest is the -extension of class teaching.National English Contest for College Students aims at training students the competing spirit of brave to move on and never giving up on the basis of emphasizing participation,which is contribute to tamp and develop the students＇English basic knowledge and skills .In orger to make students get excellent achievement in contest,we adopt some corresponding countermeasures and get good effects,such as teaching students in accordance of their aptitude,implementing grade teaching ,reforming traditional teaching schedule,realizing teaching forward moving,paying attention to train top students in daily teaching work,and creating good English study atmosphere in campus and so on.
