摘　　要：法律英语翻译是一项极其严肃的法律实践活动，法律英语汉译本具有和原文本同等的法律效力，因此准确性是法律英语翻译实务最为根本性的要求。在法律英语翻译过程中，影响其翻译准确性的因素是多方面的，本文拟对影响法律英语翻译准确性的若干因素做初步的探讨，以期学界和业界共同努力，将法律英语翻译质量提升到一个更高的层次。Chinese-English translation of English for law is serious legal practice with the Chinese version of legal writing possessing the same legal effect as that of the English version. Hence, preciseness is the most fundamental requirement. This essay tentatively probes into these factors contributing to the impreciseness of such legal practice in the expectation that the quality of Chinese-English translation of English for law can be boosted to another higher level with the joint endeavor of academic and legal circles.
