高职学生备考英语四级考试的方法探究

摘　　要：大学英语四级考试能帮助高职学生成功敲开职业大门,并且有助于他们的未来职业发展。但是高职院校学生的四级通过率普遍较低,其原因在于他们的基础薄弱,听力糟糕,单词量少,缺乏应试技巧等等。本文通过分析大学英语四级考试各个题型的特点,探讨高职学生备考英语四级的方法,并建议高职要把英语学习当作终身受益的兴趣培养和能力素质提高。The College English Test of Band 4（CET-4） is of extreme help for the students of the Higher Vocational Colleges in the aspect of helping them find the ideal job, and helping develop their future career. However, the pass rate for those students is universally low, which is due to several factors, the weakness in basic knowledge and listening practice, as well as the lack of vocabularies and overall skills for taking exams. This thesis is aimed at discussing the methods for those students in the process of preparation for CET-4, and proposes that English study should be taken as a lifetime task.
