摘 要:美国高等教育的学位教育对于学科或专业目录没有统一的规定,但工程、技术类学士学位的专业名称和培养目标与其认证制度和办法有关。ABET所定的工程类与技术类学士学位学科的专业申报名称,大体上是相一致的,只是要求不同,具有很大的柔性与灵活性。ABET对工程、技术类学科专业的名称确定与认证很注意支持新兴的、边缘的、交叉的与实用的学科、专业。ABET的最新认证标准更加重视对教学计划的审查,特别强调工程类课程的加强,而不是强调一般教育的加强。The paper analyzes the problems of specialty catalogues in American higher engineering education. Though the degree education in American higher education has no unified regulation on subjects or specialty catalogues, the specialty names and training targets of E&T have relationship with its certification system and methods. The special- ty names of the engineering bachelor's degree set by ABET are almost the same as those of the technique's bachelor' s degree except the requirements which are flexible. ABET' s confirmation and certification of the specialty names of E&T support the subjects and specialties which are new, marginal, crossed and practical. The latest certification standards of ABET pay more attention to the examination of teaching plans, especially to enhancing the examination in engineering courses instead of the general education.
