摘　　要：语言是文化的反映,翻译是跨文化的桥梁。汉英语言中存在着巨大的文化差异,其中颜色词的差异容易导致东西方人理解的误区。"黄色"在中西文化中有着不同的文化内涵,故翻译不应仅仅是语言间的转换,更应将文化因素考虑在内。Language reflects culture, and translation is the bridge of cross-culture. Great cultural differences exist between Chinese and English. Among them the color term differences can easily lead to misunderstanding. The color ＂yellow＂ has different cultural connotations in Chinese and western cultures, and therefore translation should go beyond language to take cultural factors into consideration.
