运用Article Explorer培养和提高学生自主阅读能力的实验研究

摘　　要：自主阅读能力是英语学习者必须具备的一种语言学习能力，也是英语教师和英语学习者费尽心思要建构的一种语言输入及习得技能。本文采用语言阅读辅助工具Article Explorer（文章浏览器），在实验班里进行试验，发现采用这种辅助工具的学生在猜词能力、语篇阅读能力和写作能力等方面都比对照班有明显的提高。研究证明运用Article Explorer可以培养和提高学生的英语自主阅读能力。Autonomous reading skill is one of the basic requirements for the L2 Learners in the Chinese context. It is also what the L2 teachers exert all efforts to build for the L2 learners. In this paper, the author discusses the application of the Article Explorer to experimental elass to cultivate the students＇ autonomous reading skills. Based on a contrastive analysis of the experiment, the author finds that the learners＇ autonomous reading skills are improved in terms of word guessing and discourse comprehension as well as writing skills.
