摘 要:学生入校时的英语水平参差不齐使五年制大学英语教学改革势在必行。根据现代教育理论、因材施教原则和大学英语课程教学基本要求,我校从2005年开始在非英语专业学生中实施了三年多的英语分层教学。实践证明我们的改革是成功的,我们的分层教学取得了预期的效果。Students usually have uneven English levels when they enter the college, which makes it imperative to reform English teaching of non-English majors in 5-year colleges. Based on some modem educational theories and "teaching students in accordance with their different learning levels" , "the Basic Requirements for English Teaching in five-year College Education, our college has been practicing English teaching of non-English majors at different levels since 2004. More than 3 years' practice has proved that our reform is successful and we have achieved the desired effect.
