摘　　要：在中国翻译理论界的"杂语喧哗"中,在各种不同的理论意向、理论话题和理论思潮论争中,翻译理论的元理论向度与文化理论向度成为最值得关注的问题,其对于翻译学科的自身构成与自我确立可能是最有意义的,对于翻译学学科的发展具有举足轻重的地位。充分认识翻译理论研究中的这两个向度,积极将当下的众多翻译理论话题纳入这一学术视野,无疑会催生翻译研究的本体自觉。In the field of translation studies in present-day China, there are two noticeable theoretical orientations, i.e., meta-theory orientation and culture theory orientation, which could be said to be most meaningful to the self-establishment of translation theory. Many of the academic discourses of present-day translation studies can undoubtedly be integrated into and looked at from this perspective. These two theoretical orientations are a result of the profound changes of the relationship between theory and reality and a necessary response to this changed reality.
