摘　　要：莎士比亚的著名的四大悲剧之一的《奥赛罗》曾经引起过无数的争议。"嫉妒说"曾在《奥赛罗》研究中一直占据着统治地位,但也有很多莎学研究者从不同角度对"嫉妒说"加以否定,指出《奥赛罗》中蕴涵的人文主义思想并不能以嫉妒一说简单诠释。就"嫉妒"背后隐藏的种种原因和动机,探讨了造成奥塞罗悲剧的一些深层原因。Othello,one of Shakespeare＇s four most famous tragedies, has caused numerous disputes since it appeared. Although ＂Theory of Jealousy＂ has been dominant in Shakespeare＇s research for a long time,many Shakespeareans deny it from various perspectives and point out that ＂jealousy＂ cannot he complete to explain the humanism in Othello. This paper tries to find some reasons and motivations which hide behind the ＂jealousy＂ in order to probe into some deep reasons which make Othello＇s tragedy.
