摘　　要：彼得.纽马克提出的语义翻译(semantic translation)和交际翻译(communicative translation)是其翻译理论的核心部分。他将语言功能与文本范围的界定结合起来,详细分析了文本的广泛差异性及其在实际操作中的诸多问题。交际翻译和文本类型的关系在英汉互译中的运用值得探讨。Semantic translation and communicative translation are the core of translation theory by Peter Newmark, who combines language function and text type and fully analyzes the wide differences between text types and many practical problems. The present paper attempts to discuss the relationship between communicative translation and text type and analyze some examples in English/Chinese and Chinese/English translation.
