摘  要:大学英语教学的主要目标之一就是培养学生的交际能力,语篇能力是交际能力的重要组成部分。作为大学英语主干课程的精读课应实施语篇教学,以提高学生的阅读能力和用英语进行交际的能力。语篇能力与交际能力的关系、衔接与连贯理论以及图式理论为语篇分析在英语阅读教学中的运用提供了有力的理论支撑。在教学过程中,教师要结合语篇,加强相关文化背景知识的导入,引导学生识别语篇主题,有意识地培养学生的逻辑推理能力和词汇能力。The cultivation of student's communicative ability is one of objectives of college English teaching and the discourse ability is an important part of communicative ability. Teaching of discourse should be carried out in the intensive reading course as a vital curriculum of college English in order to improve the English reading and communicative ability of students. The relationship between discourse and communicative competences,the theories of coherence and cohesion,and the schema theory as well have provided a strong theoretical support for the application of discourse analysis to teaching of English reading. In process of teaching, the teachers should associate discourse,strengthen the introduction of knowledge of related cultural background,guide students to identify discourse subject and consciously develop the logical reasoning and vocabulary abilities of students.
