元认知在英语教学中的应用

摘　　要：元认知就是指认知主体对自身认知活动的认知,其发展水平在相当程度上决定了人的认知效率,因此提高主体的元认知发展水平是促进人们智力发展的有效途径。在英语教学实践中,系统地对学生进行元认知开发,能够调动学生学习自觉性,增进学习效率。Metacognition refers to knowledge of the cognitive subject＇s cognitive activities, which level determines the person＇s cognitive efficiency to a considerable extent. Therefore, increasing the meta -cognitive level is an effective way to promote intellectual development. In English teaching practice, to systematically develop students＇metacognition is able to mobilize students to study consciously and enhance learning efficiency.
