摘  要:自学考试制度改变了以学校教育为中心的封闭式的教育制度,作为具有中国特色、适合中国国情的教育制度以其特有的灵活性、开放性、社会性和多样性等特征突出地显现出了其对于构建终身教育体系和实现学习型社会目标的现实意义。在新的历史时期,自学考试制度只有进一步融入终身教育体系和学习型社会的时代强音中,才能跨上一个新的台阶,并以其特有的优势对推动教育公平、促进社会和谐发展、建设人力资源强国发挥重要作用。Self-taught examination system has changed the closed educational system regarding school education as its center. As the educational system with Chinese characteristics and suitable for Chinese conditions, the self-taught examination system has distinctly showed the realistic significance in constructing lifelong education system and realizing learning-oriented social objective with its unique characteristics of flexibility, openness, sociability and diversity. In the new historical period, only when the self-taught examination system further integrates into the lifelong education system and learning-oriented society, can it step onto a new stage, and play an important role in pushing forward educational equity, promoting social harmonious development, and constructing a great human resource power with its particular advantages.
