论隐喻认知观对委婉语的阐释力

摘　　要：首先陈述了隐喻认知观,隐喻是一种重要的认知模式,是新的语言意义产生的根源。其次,运用隐喻认知理论对委婉语进行解释,描述了英语委婉语的意义建构与认知阐释。最后指出,从认知的视角去分析、理解和解释英语委婉语现象。This paper is aimed at discussing metaphorical theories from the cognitive perspective.It first gives a brief introduction to the metaphorical theories.Then it explores its cognitive interpretations for English euphemism.Finally the author suggests analyzing the euphemistic language from the cognitive perspective.
