摘  要:英国在公立学校改革上的一项重要举措是引入市场机制,鼓励社会力量创办各种新型学校,为公众提供多样化的教育,以促进教育平等的最高目标——结果平等的实现。虽然教育多样化与教育平等的实现之间存在必然联系,但是,教育多样化实质上对于教育平等的实现是一柄双刃剑,英国的案例为我们诠释了这一点。An important reform measure in British comprehensive schools is the introduction of market mechanisms,the British government encourages social forces to set up a variety of new schools to provide the public with diversified education. They hope British education can achieve the goal of equality of results by diverse education. Though as we know, there is a causal link between educational diversity and the realization of equality in education, in fact diversified education is a double-edged sword for the realization of equality for education.The case from the UK can explain the fact.
