摘 要:本研究通过语料库手段对比国内一套中学英语教材和两套国际英语教材,考察教材对英语动词‘do'的虚化用法的呈现情况。调查发现,与相应的国际英语教材相比,该国内中学英语教材大量而且高度重复地呈现了其虚化用法中与汉语动词‘做'相偶合的用法,对于其它虚化程度相对更高的用法则呈现不足,尤其体现在这类用法中‘do'所搭配的名词的丰富程度上。另外,从相应的练习活动看,该国内教材对‘do'的虚化用法的呈现也不够显性。调查表明,国内中学英语教材的编写有必要适当丰富和突显相应的动词虚化用法,以提升学习者对语言虚化现象的意识和习得。A corpus-based comparative study on delexical verb "do" is carried out between one set of domestic EFL coursebooks for high school and two sets of international EFL coursebooks for elementary and intermediate levels. The study shows that the investigated domestic EFL coursebooks, compared with the international ones, overwhelmingly repeat the delexicalized uses of "do" where they coincide with the usages of Chinese verb "zuo", and poorly present the more highly-delexicalized uses of "do", esp. in terms of the richness of the accompanying nouns. A survey of the relevant exercises shows that the domestic EFL coursebooks fail to present the delexical verb in an explicit way. The study shows the necessity to enrich and highlight the uses of delexical verbs in domestic EFL coursebooks.
