英汉“Mouth”(口)的隐喻研究

摘　　要：隐喻是人类理解周围世界的一种认知方式。从"mouth"(口)向非人体域的映射和"mouth"(口)向人体域的其他器官之间的映射两个层面,比较英汉语"mouth"(口)词汇的隐喻表达,并揭示英汉语中"mouth"(口)隐喻特点和两种语言中"mouth"(口)词汇隐喻构建异同。Metaphor is a cognitive approach of understanding around the world by human. This paper analyzes from the two layers of mapping, one of them is the mapping of the human body, and the other is the mapping of other organs to human domain. This paper made a contrastive study on the metaphoric expressions involving the English mouth and Chinese kou, followed by exploring their similarities and differences in the metaphorical features.
