高职学生英语课堂流失率现状及对策思考——以浙江艺术职业学院为例

摘  要:在以“浙江艺术职业学院”为个例,对高职学生英语课堂流失现象进行主客观问卷调查的基础上,通过采集信息对比实证分析,掌握流失率和“隐性流失”的情况.调查发现,多数学生对自己的英语学习成效并不满意,但有良好的英语学习期待.班级规模、教学方法、教学内容和以往不成功的学习经历等因素的共生作用形成了“课堂流失”现象.认为惟有从“教”的角度寻求对策,才有可能解决“学”的问题,并以有效教学和开放性理念为指引,从正视学生学习的差异性、正视教师角色转变、正视制度转变的可能性三个方面提出探讨性对策.Taking students from Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Fine Arts for example, based on the questiormaires about the phenomenon of dropout from English class, contrast and analysis have been made to get a better understanding of the dropout rate and recessive dropout. The survey shows that most of the students are not quite satisfied with their English study, but with higher expectation. The phenomenon of dropout from English class results from the size of class, teaching method, teaching content, previous failure in English study. It is concluded that it is teaching method that can solve the problem of students' learning. Exploratory countermeasures are proposed from the following aspects such as recognition of students' difference in study, change of teachers' role and possibility of system changes.
