摘　　要：詹姆斯作为美国心理学的创始人,在美国建立了第一个心理学实验室,而他自己却很少做实验,甚至在某些场合下公然反对实验心理学和实验室的研究方法,但他却对美国实验心理学产生了深远影响。詹姆斯《心理学原理》中大量的观点都是实验方法的源泉。结果,大量的实验研究都是被詹姆斯有趣的观察和微妙的解释所激起,众多的实验研究路线都可以直接或间接追溯到詹姆斯著作中的某些闪光的见识和推理。As the founder of American psychology,James established the first psychological laboratory in America.However,he did few experiments,and even on some public occasions he was openly against experimental psychology and laboratory methods.Even so,he exerted a profound impact on American experimental psychology.In this paper,the author explores a number of little known historical facts about James' experimental psychology,and re-evaluates the relationship between James and experimental psychology.
