摘  要:目的探讨在高年级护理本科生中开设《护理英语口语》选修课的教学方法及教学效果。方法 2009年秋季学期在我校护理本科三、四年级中首次开设《护理英语口语》选修课。课程结束后对学生进行问卷调查。结果学生对于《护理英语口语》选修课的课程设计、组织形式评价较好,并对从选修课中的受益持肯定态度。结论《护理英语口语》在护理本科生中开设是必要的。教材应尽量选择或开发有护理特色的专业英语教材;教师的专业英语口语水平对于确保教学质量起着非常重要的作用;课程组织应遵循以学生为主体、教师为主导的原则,采取多样的教学方法和评价方式。Objective To explore the teaching methods and effectiveness of the elective course of Oral Nursing English for nursing undergraduates.Methods The first elective course of Oral Nursing English was available for the third year or fourth year nursing undergraduates in autumn semester of 2009.Then the teaching feedback survey was done after the completion of the course.Results Students' feedback on the course was quite good in terms of the organizational forms and course design and they held positive attitudes about the benefits from the course.Conclusion The elective course of Oral Nursing English is essential for nursing undergraduates.Teaching materials selected,used or designed for this course should focus on nursing professional knowledge.And the teachers' abilities of oral English play vital role in the teaching process.In addition,flexible and various teaching methods as well as evaluation methods should be adopted in the organization of this course teaching with the principles of student-centered and teacher-guided.
