摘  要:Geometric continuity is a very important issue in CAGD and has gained more attention. In this paper we present the new concept of polynomial preserving Gn cootinuity (PPG") between rectangular and triangular Bezier surfaces. Necessary and swhcieot conditions of PPG" are established explicitly. A simple and useful sufficient condition is also presented. The results can be used more effectively in connecting surfaces and composing rectangular and triangular patches.Geometric continuity is a very important issue in CAGD and has gained more attention.
