摘　　要：英语写作教学是当前高校英语教学中亟需进行改革的课程之一。近3年来,许昌学院在英语写作课程的改革与实践过程中,研究了相关英语写作研究文献,从教学手段和教学方法等方面对英语写作教学进行了探索,促进了学生写作能力的提高,取得了实际成效。English Writing is one of the many college English courses which are in urgent need of reform.This article mainly discusses the problem in the reform of English Writing course based on literature review about the teaching of English Writing.It also gives advice on reforming English Writing course with the purpose of promoting healthy development of English Writing teaching and the enhancement of students’ writing abilities.
