海洋科技英语中名词性隐喻的功能特征

摘　　要：本文依据认知语言学和功能语言学的相关理论为框架,通过对海洋科技英语语料中名词性隐喻的实例剖析来栩栩如生地展现它的功能特征。由于名词和动词的非范畴化导致了名词性隐喻的产生,因此非范畴化理论为解读词汇隐喻的概念陈述功能和人际沟通功能以及名词化语法隐喻的抽象指称功能、语篇拆卸功能、衔接连贯功能和概念整合功能提供了新的视角。This paper intends to characterize EMST（English for Marine Science and Technology） through the dissection of some living examples of nominal metaphor,using some relevant cognitive and functional theories as a framework for that discussion.It is the decategorization of noun and verb that leads to nominal metaphor,so decategorization theory provides a new prospective for interpreting functions of lexical metaphor and nominalizing metaphor,such as conceptual assertion,interpersonal communication,abstract reference,discourse unpacking,cohesion and coherence as well as conceptual integration.
