摘　　要：This paper gives a necessary and sufficient condition to judge the existence of the rational interpolating function, and obtains a concrete representative form of the rational interpolating function, hence it provides a powerful tool to analyse the rational interpolation problem. It introduces the concept interpolant, terpolant etc., and discusses the relations to the classical results.
