文化背景知识在大学英语教学中的应用

摘　　要：在大学英语教学中进行文化教学,培养学生对英美文化的敏感和洞察力,能帮助学生了解该语言,更恰当地运用语言知识。教师可以介绍教材中的文化背景知识,在听力口语教学过程中积累文化背景知识,还可以通过词汇教学教文化,在翻译中运用文化背景知识。For hundreds of years,tranlators have been probing in the translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Terms.The German translation theorist in functionalist theory,Hans Vermeer,presented Skopostheory,which shakes off the yoke of the traditional translation theory.It provides the theoretical basis for choosing flexible methods in the translation practice of TCM
