摘  要:在大众化高等教育时代,高职高专英语教师是一个特殊的群体,有着尴尬的专业困顿,这种尴尬的专业困顿与高职高专院校人才培养定位密切相关。从政策层面来看,高职高专学生需要掌握一定的英语知识;从实践层面来看,大部分高职高专学生从事生产服务一线的工作,对英语的要求普遍不高。如何开展英语教学就成为高职高专院校英语教师当前面临的难题,此问题直接引发英语教师的职业危机感。因此,转变高职高专英语教学方式,对不同专业进行有针对性的教学,培养英语教师的核心竞争力,提升教师适应社会需要的能力就显得尤为重要。At the age of higher education in mass,college English teachers are a special group.They are in a professional position with frustrations which is closely related to the location of personal training.On one hand,from the policy level,vocational students need to master some English knowledge and on the other hand,from a practical perspective,most of the vocational college students who are engaged in the production line do not need too much English.Thus how to develop English language teaching has become a problem to college English teachers.Therefore,it is particularly important to change college English teaching methods,to develop targeted education,to train English teachers the core competitiveness and enhance the ability of the teachers so as to meet the needs of the community.
