摘　　要：功能翻译理论对于旅游资料的翻译工作具有重要的指导意义,通过分析旅游资料的文本类型特点和体现的功能,提出旅游资料翻译必须考虑翻译的目的,文本的功能以及期待读者的需求。Functionalist Approach to Translation has a great significance to the translation work.Based on the analysis of the text type and expected function of the materials,the paper holds that tourist materials should be translated according to the purpose of the translation,text type,text function and the needs of the expected readers.
