摘　　要：西方儿童教育的现代化过程,其实是儿童中心主义萌生、成长、壮大的过程。中国儿童教育变革的方向只能是现代化。对儿童中心主义是拒斥还是接受,这是我们不能不面对的一个关键问题。儿童教育应当坚持改革开放的大方向,处理好儿童教育的古今中西问题。The modernization of children＇s education in the West is,in fact,the evolutionary process of child-centered pedagogy.None but modernization is the orientation of children＇s education reform in China.We have to decide whether to accept child-centered pedagogy or spurn it.Pedagogy should adhere to the general direction of reform and opening up,and deal well with the problems of Chinese Learning and Western Learning and of the Ancients and the Moderns.
