中国传统文化元素翻译策略探讨——以《论语》核心词“仁”英译为例

摘　　要：《论语》作为中国传统文化的代表,其翻译历来受到中外学者的广泛关注。＂仁＂不仅是《论语》中最核心的词,而且是孔子学说的中心思想。通过收集和分析16种有代表性的有关＂仁＂的翻译成果和研究成果,及对《论语》的5种文化翻译策略研究得出：中国传统文化元素的翻译,应该在中国和平崛起的大视野下,采取＂和谐法＂的翻译策略。The Analects is regarded as a representative work of Chinese traditional culture and its translation is widely studied by Chinese and foreign scholars.＂Ren＂ is not only the core word of The Analects,but also the central idea of Confucianism.By studying 5 translation strategies of cultural translation of The Analects,as well as collecting and analyzing 16 examples of translation of ＂Ren＂,the authors point out that a ＂harmonious translation strategy＂ should be adopted for translating Chinese traditional cultural elements.
