摘　　要：高等职业教育使学生在掌握必需的文化知识的同时,应具有熟练的职业技能和适应职业变化的能力,才能适应劳动力市场的变化。这为职业教育的教学改革和教材改革指明了方向。只有完善高职英语教材改革,改变教材建设现状,组建一支结构合理的编写队伍,实行寓高职教育特色于教材模式的改革,实行寓高职学生综合职业能力于教材模式的改革,才能有助于提高真正意义上的教学质量。Higher vocational education must cultivate changes while imparting basic knowledge about culture to students,which points out the way to teaching and textbooks reform of vocational education.Only by perfecting vocational English textbooks and changing the status quos of textbook construction and by forming a reasonable compiling team while enforcing textbook mode reforms combined with vocational education and with comprehensive vocational abilities of vocational college students can teaching quality be really improved
