基于语料库的中国理工科大学生体态语使用研究

摘　　要：以中国五所理工科大学的91名理工专业学生为研究对象,运用语料库的研究方法探讨他们用英语进行小组讨论时的体态语使用情况。结果显示中国理工科大学生在英语口头交际中使用体态语的总体水平不容乐观,且存在一定的个体差异和性别差异。以此为基础,对口语教材编写、课堂教学和评估方式提出了一些尝试性建议,以期能帮助提高理工科大学生运用体态语辅助英语口头交际的能力。With the corpus-based approach,the writers of the present paper selected 88 Chinese Science and Engineering majors from five different universities and investigated their situation of body language use when making group discussions with their classmates.Results show that Chinese Science and Engineering majors＇ ability of body language use is far from satisfaction and there exist certain individual and gender differences.Some corresponding suggestions on oral English textbook writing,classroom instruction and assessment format are put forward to help enhance these students＇ overall oral English proficiency with the help of using body language.
