摘　　要：短语动词的教学是英语词汇教学和学习中的一个难点。认知语言学中的意象图式有助于学习者对抽象概念的理解,利用意象图式教授短语动词能够使学习者了解与该短语动词相关的短语的内部结构及其各项隐喻意义与原型意义的关系,从而使学习者系统地掌握目标词汇,加深理解,提高词汇学习的效率。One of the greatest difficulties in teaching English vocabulary for foreign students is phrasal verbs. The use of image schemas in teaching phrasal verbs enables the learners to understand the intra-lexical structure of phrases related to the phrasal verb and the relations between metaphorical senses and prototypical meaning, thereby learning the given words and phrases systematically with deep understanding and making the learning process with high proficiency.
