摘 要:在以场依赖和场独立两种认知方式对英语写作的影响对英语专业80名学生进行调查的基础上,以TEM-4写作要求为标准从内容、组织、语法、精确度四方面对两种风格的作文进行了对比分析,结果表明:学习者认知方式与英语写作水平有一定相关性;场独立者在写作内容与结构方面的能力优于场依赖者。不同风格的学习者应据自身特点有针对性地提高写作水平,写作教师则应将学习者认知方式融入教学之中。Based on the researches having done by far, this paper focuses on the impact of field dependence/inde- pendence on English writing. 80 English majors from University of South China are investigated by means of quantitative analysis. Meanwhile, comparison and analysis are made between writings of different cognitive style's testers from the content, organizing, grammar and accuracy in light of the TEM-4. The result shows that field independent learners have a certain advantages on the writing's content and organizing. It is advisable for both types of people to improve their writing abilities according to their own characteristics. What's more, the writing teacher should take the cognitive style into their classroom teaching.
