《道德经》四种英译本之误译辨析

摘　　要：研究中外翻译家《道德经》英译的4个版本,发现几种误译现象,包括:字词误译和句子结构误译。字词误译有两方面原因引起:词性理解错误和词的引申意义或转义理解错误。而句子结构误译产生的原因是:标点理解错误和句子成份理解错误。In studying the four English versions of Tao Te Ching by Arthur Waley, Stephen Mitchell, Ellen M. Chen and Gu Zhengkun, some kinds of mistranslations are found, and they are the mistranslation of the Chinese characters and the sentence structure. After probing into the reasons behind, it concludes that the mistranslation of the Chinese characters is caused by the misunderstanding of the part of speech and the connotation of the Chinese characters. And the mistranslation of the sentence structure is caused by the misunderstanding of punctuation and the members of the sentence.
