摘　　要：目的论把翻译放在行为理论和跨文化交际中进行考察,强调译文的目的决定翻译的方法、标准和策略。The Skopos theory holds that translation is a kind of purposeful activity and should be carried out in the cross cultural context. Thus the purpose of translated versions determines the translation method, criteria and strategy. This paper, framed upon the Skopos theory, probes into problems and translation techniques in the translation of the traditional Chinese medicine terminology.
