摘　　要：语域理论(Register Theory)是系统功能语言学的重要理论之一,其核心内容是语言随着语境的变化而变化,并受制于语境的变化。运用语域理论指导高级英语阅读的研究与分析可以有助于培养学生的学习能力,提高其驾驭高级英语词汇进行社会交际的应用能力。The Theory of Register is one of the important theories in systemic functional linguistics,and its core is that language changes with context changing,and subject to the changes of context.With the help of register theory,teachers could guide students to study and analyze reading materials in advanced English reading course,which is helpful to cultivate students＇ learning ability,improve their applied ability to master advanced English vocabulary in social communication.
