摘　　要：生态环保公示语是人类文明和社会进步的产物,具有极强的宣传效果和社会意义。针对此类公示语的英译问题,依据莱思和诺德的文本类型理论,探讨汉语生态环保公示语的文本功能,提出针对兼具多功能文本类型的英译策略,并结合问卷调查得以证实。Signs on bio-environmental protection,as a product of human civilization and social development,play a very important role in popularizing the concept of bio-environmental protection among the public.By adopting text typology theories of Reiss and Nord,the paper made an attempt to classify text typologies of Chinese signs on bio-environmental protection in terms of their communicative function.Appropriate translation strategies were thus suggested for the texts containing more than one function and then proven by a questionnaire survey.
