摘　　要：双关语是英文标题中一种较为常见的修辞手段。然而,因在转化语言结构和表达上存在着难以逾越的障碍,如何汉译带有双关语的标题成为翻译中的一个难点。本文从语音双关、语义双关、语法双关和语境双关等几方面对双关语的运用技巧作了阐述,并以"功能对等"翻译理论为指导,通过若干例证的剖析,提出了作为译者在汉译标题中双关语时应采取的策略和方法,以期在目的语中再现原语双关的艺术效果。Punning is one of the most common rhetorical devices used in news headlines.Yet its double meanings and cultural differences make it a tough job to translate puns in English headlines.This paper analyzes the various ways to form puns in headlines from the perspective of phonetics puns,semantics puns,grammar puns and context puns and,guided by Nida＇s theory of dynamic equivalent translation,gives a full discussion of the methods to translate them by analyzing various examples,hoping to reproduce art results of original puns in object languages.
