《鹿鼎记》中粗俗语的可译性限度

摘　　要：武侠小说《鹿鼎记》塑造了很多性格鲜明的人物,他们的语言极富特色,尤以其中的粗俗语为典型。然而在其翻译的过程中,可译性限度的存在造成了一定的困难和阻碍。为了探索文学翻译中粗俗语的可译性限度,以《鹿鼎记》英译本The Deer and the Cauldron为个案,分别从形象内涵、感情色彩、人物性格及作品风格四个层面切入,初步探讨影响粗俗语可译性限度的因素。研究为文学作品中粗俗语的翻译提供了借鉴。The distinctive characters in the martial arts fiction Lu Ding Ji are endowed with unique speeches,in particular,the ＇foul language＇.However,during its translation from Chinese to English,the ＇translation limitation＇ gives rise to certain difficulties and obstacles.In order to explore the ＇translation limitation＇ of ＇ foul language＇ in literary translation,the English version of Lu Ding Ji——The Deer and the Cauldron was taken to analyse factors＇ that influence ＇translation limitation＇ of the‘foul language’in four aspects： image connotations,emotions,unique characteristics and work styles.The study offers guidance for the translation of foul language in literature.
